Question about shotgun mounted UNDER AR-15?

Question: Ok, to understand what Im talking about, you would have needed to see the movie Predator. In the movie, the Native American, Billy, has an M-16 with a shotgun mounted under where the grenade launcher would be. I realized that a civilian could do this, and it would be both legal and awesome. I watched the movie closely and there were no picatinny rails, also, both guns worked properly because he fired both. Have you ever seen this setup? How would you go about it? How would you modify the shotgun so it would fit properly? My M-16 platform would be an Armalite AR-15. Shotgun would be a tactical mossberg pump with pistol grip. ($400 at Dunhams). Also, is there a way I could attach and detach both guns and have the shotgun still work on its own properly? DM, sorry my friend, but that movie had advisors who were weapon experts and after doing some research, it is no only possible, but it exists. I just want to know how to do it. If you don't like the question, don't answer. NOT DM I MEANT ROGER W.

Answer: Check out the website below. I think this is more what you are describing...The only drawback would be that the shotgun being under 26" wouldn't meet BATF guidelines to be legal for civilians to own let alone possess. I've seen "shorty" Remington 870's that you could purchase with a Class III license and $200 tax stamp though. This one mounts using a picatinny rail system but again making it LEGAL would be the issue..... http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh17-e.htm Drop down to the bottom of the page
