Question: my T.V. has a picture which was always properly colored. Recently, seemingly overnight, the color is primarily purple and green uniformly over the entire screen with a double view of people and words on screen What is the problem?
Answer: This may be a projection tv and the color guns are out of alignment. Usually moving it causes this. Some tv's have a way of getting these back to normal in the menu setup. I forget what it is called but there is a screen usually has alot of crosses on it and you line all three colors together so the crosses are yellow with no other color bleeding off to one side. This lines up the 3 color guns, green, red and blue.
