Selecting golf wedges?

Question: I bought a set with a 45' PW and will buy either 54' or 56' SW...Curious if necessary to carry a LW or AW?

Answer: Mike, it depends on how far you hit the P wedge. You want to make sure that you have a good distance gap inbetween all your clubs, so if you hit your P wedge 120 Yards and you hit a 56 degree wedge 90 that is too big of a spread between clubs. You want to buy something that will let you hit the ball about 100 to 110 yards. And you only want to get a lob wedge if you wont carry a 56 degree wedge. You can hit all sorts fo good shots with a 56 degree wedge, so you wont need a lob wedge.
